My Story
Hi, I’m Ashley. I am born and raised in Louisiana and married a Louisiana boy, Blake. We have two little boys, Cooper and Bennett, and currently live in New Orleans. I am a Chiropractor and a private softball instructor, as well as an entrepreneur. I am the founder and owner of The Pitching Doctor.
We love helping people in all arenas: health, sports, financial assets, mentorship, etc. This arena (softball) is one of my passions and expertise and the area of my life where God is calling me to give back to the next generation.

My Purpose
What I am most passionate about is helping the next generation improve their pitching, as well as protecting the most important asset: the shoulder.

My dream is to be able to utilize all my hard work to help others. A way to give to others without taking away from my family. But the thing I’m most excited about is to utilize all the knowledge, skills, and experiences that God allowed me to have and to use them for good, not for awards.

If you think you have what it takes to excel, than you are invited to join me at The Pitching Doctor. I have been developing sports players into athletes since 2007, with training options that cater to all levels. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to become a professional, my lessons and training may just be the perfect fit for you. Interested in learning about more?
My Journey
Success & Gold Metals
I had the privilege of putting on that USA jersey and having 2 Gold medals wrap around my neck. It was a dream of mine to continue wearing that jersey. Unfortunately, softball was taken out of the Olympics in 2012 and 2016.
But now a new dream has been formed. A dream to give back to the next generation of athletes. And I would love to help you too!
Shoulder Injury & Pitching
I withstood a shoulder injury in 2008 that required surgery in 2009 (shoulder labrum surgery, 8 anchors). I rehabbed back to finish off my career but only pitched 2 games pain free.
I know what its like to have an injury derail your dreams but I have found a platform to give back to others to help them with their goals and dreams.
More Than Awards & Trophies
My background in athletics and academics is quite extensive (see below) but in reality, God gifted me with an ability that I worked hard to master.
Now, I am blending my two passions of chiropractic and softball into one. Using my expertise, experience, and passion in both arenas, we are transforming the softball pitching world.

Why You Can Trust Us
First of all I'm a doctor! My career as a chiropractor has led me into many different doors, including owning a chiropractic clinic in New Orleans, as well as being the team Chiropractor for Tulane University athletics.
Now, I am blending my two passions of chiropractic and softball into one. Using my expertise, experience, and passion in both arenas, we are transforming the softball pitching world. A new clinic will be birthed soon, using softball pitching specific skills and biomechanics research, combining specific treatments and workouts, supplement counseling, and shoulder protocols to help the next generation. This will be coming in the near future, but for now, being able to reach all athletes around the country with my knowledge and passion is important.

I have developed a new way of doing things by combining my expertise in softball pitching with my specialization in shoulder biomechanics and health. The local clinic includes biomechanics research, pitching evaluations and techniques, supplement counseling, chiropractic evaluation, specialized fitness protocols, and softball specific care. We want to develop the whole athlete, not just the softball pitcher.
